What is Grief?
Grief is a natural response to loss. Any major loss can bring on grief such as death of a loved one, miscarriage, losing a job or loss of a friendship. The more significant the loss, the more strong the grief can be. Everyone grieves differently and the process takes time.
As the client works through their emotions, the client learns how to explore healthy ways of grieving. Therapy can help one better understand the stages of grief and ultimately accept one’s loss.
