What is the Mind / Body Connection?
Mind/Body work is based on the connection that our thoughts and feelings affect our physical state.
Mind/Body work focuses on becoming more aware of one’s mental state in order to harness positive reactions in the body. When negative experiences are repressed, they are stored in the body and create “dis-ease”, manifesting as a physical illness. When one explores the emotional and psychological aspects to the physical ailment, the ailment begins to heal.
