Psychotherapy
What is my approach to psychotherapy?
I offer integrative psychotherapy in Seattle for adults across Washington State. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with holistic tools, tailored to your needs. In a calm, supportive space, we look at what’s happening now and what’s ready to heal. Together we uncover the patterns beneath the stress, build practical skills, and create sustainable change aligned with your values.
Is psychotherapy right for me?
Psychotherapy is a deeply personal choice. If you’re wondering whether now is the time, here’s how psychotherapy can help.
People seek psychotherapy for many different reasons. Some begin to work through long-standing struggles with anxiety or depression. For others, therapy begins in the midst of unexpected change – a divorce, a loss, or a career transition. In addition, many arrive simply wanting space for self-exploration and growth.
Working with a licensed psychotherapist can provide insight, support, and practical strategies. In addition, therapy offers tools to address depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, stress, and major life transitions.
Psychotherapy is for anyone ready to live with greater self-awareness, take responsibility for their well-being, and make meaningful changes that support a healthier, more authentic life.
Psychotherapy can help you with:
- Anxiety and stress – learning how to calm your nervous system and find steadiness when life feels overwhelming.
- Depression – moving through heaviness with support, perspective, and practical tools.
- Grief and loss – creating space to honor your pain while finding a way forward.
- Life transitions – navigating divorce, career changes, or other major shifts with clarity and resilience.
- Relationships and conflict – improving communication, setting boundaries, and healing old patterns.
- Self-esteem and identity – building confidence and reconnecting with your authentic self.

My Personal Healing Journey
I have been practicing and living these healing modalities for over two decades, experiencing first-hand the profound impact they have when combined. I know what it’s like to struggle – to face recurring challenges, feel stuck in negative self-talk, and carry limiting beliefs that keep you from moving forward. Beyond that, I’ve also experienced the depth of unimaginable pain that life can bring.
When my son, Jack died unexpectedly in 2016, it shattered my world. Through psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and years of deep soul work, I slowly found my way back. These practices gave me the tools to grieve, process trauma, and begin to heal. Over time, I was able to transform my pain into strength, harness my inner power, and step into my most authentic self.
Today, I bring that same blend of psychotherapy and spiritual life coaching to my clients – supporting them through loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and helping them find healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.

Do I really need psychotherapy?
You don’t need to be “falling apart” to benefit from therapy.
Everyone goes through challenging seasons in life, and while you may have navigated past difficulties on your own, there’s nothing wrong with reaching for extra support when you need it. Psychotherapy and counseling are not signs of weakness, they are signs of self-awareness and strength. Recognizing that you need help with anxiety, depression, grief, or a major life transition is a courageous step toward healing.
By seeking therapy, you’re taking responsibility for your well-being and making a commitment to meaningful change. The process of psychotherapy provides long-lasting tools for emotional regulation, self-discovery, and resilience. With the right support, you can identify and shift old patterns, reduce stress triggers, and begin to heal the root causes of what’s holding you back. Therapy offers a safe space to explore, grow, and move forward toward the life you truly want to live.
Do you accept insurance?
How does insurance work?
I’m an out-of-network provider and don’t bill insurance directly. If you have out-of-network benefits, I’ll provide a detailed receipt (superbill) you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Many clients also use HSA/FSA funds.
What is psychotherapy like?
Every therapy session is unique and tailored to your personal goals. In our work together, we’ll explore the issues that matter most to you, whether that’s anxiety, depression, grief, or navigating a major life transition. Sessions are typically held weekly and last about fifty minutes, giving you dedicated space for reflection and growth.
Therapy can be short-term, focused on a specific challenge, or longer-term, supporting ongoing personal growth and healing. To see the best results, it’s important to stay engaged both in session and in daily life as you integrate new insights and tools.
Here’s what you can expect from psychotherapy with me:
